SKIN is a large series of brutally honest and unapologetic fine art nude images photographed on a large format film camera that spans a spectrum of body types, genders, and skin colors. This book celebrates real, textured, scarred, wrinkled skin. Not glamorous and retouched, but raw, gritty and vulnerable.

The softcover edition is a 9x12 inch book with 156 pages and over 120 black and white images. Each image for this project has been meticulously created using an antique large format camera and I’ve hand developed all the 4x5" film myself. The negatives were scanned, some dodging and burning applied, and dust removed for print. This process gives the final images a gritty and organic look that I think fits this subject matter perfectly. The books was printed by Martin Printing.
